2016 International Grand Latte Art Championship |
The event was held on Friday 19 August 2016 at Victoria Bar & Grill 426 Victoria Street Chatswood.
From the creators of Grand Barista Championship (GBC) comes the 2016 International Grand Latte Art Championship.
The FormatFast, intense, fun, spectator friendly and interactive Latte Art competition that is an open competition for baristas and latte artists from all over the world. Three rounds of competition beginning with 1 knockout, elimination round that sees competitors create one Latte Art creation from the ‘Grand Latte Art Championship (GLAC) E-Wheel’. Winners from Round 1 proceed onto Round 2 where the format sees each competitor create two creations, one from the GLAC E-Wheel and one Signature Latte Art creation. The final round hosts the best and last six artists standing from the Round 2 preliminary finals where each finalist will face off with their signature latte art creation. The MilkOur event partner Riverina Fresh is a multiple award winning milk, most recently awarded a Gold medal at the 2014 DIAA Awards. The milk is easily textured and consistently delivers a silky canvas for perfectly glossy latte art presentation.
